Since 2017, Mr. Denz has also been a PhD student at the TU Delft, Faculty of Architecture and Built Environment, researching “Smart Textile Skins” for material and energy efficient building envelopes.

From 2014, Paul-Rouven Denz built up the research and development department at Priedemann Facade Experts with a focus on new facade technologies, materials, systems and planning processes. Axel Roth has been working in the glass sector for over 30 years. His areas of activity include sales, product development for soundproof partitions and technical consulting. Since 2019, Roth has been a project consultant at Saint-Gobain Glass Germany for Bavaria and Austria, specializing in façades. In his presentation, he will talk about his current consulting focus, low-CO2 glass and the circular economy through the recycling of dismantled façade glass.

In his lecture, he refers to the latest technologies for sustainable building in the global context of urban development.
